Through "Rally Cap Days". Baseball Canada recommends that programs hold two Rally Cap Days during the season, where athletes get a chance to "level up" based on the skills they have practised and acquired.
- On the day, athletes go through stations and perform different baseball skills.
- When a player succeeds at each skill for a particular level, they are recognized as having passed that skill level.
- Programs can hold more or fewer of these events, but the manual cautions against progressing through the levels on a daily basis. Athletes should practise their skills throughout the season and then perform on the day.
- Baseball BC's Rally Cap page describes up to three skill-testing opportunities per season, and lists a Participant Progress Report Card as a program resource.
