How is my child's League Age worked out, and which division do they play in?

League Age is calculated using 31 August of the tournament year. Baseball Australia says this is mandated by Little League International. Winter leagues use 31 August of the following year.

League Age ranges in the 2026 tournament manual:

• Little League Invitational / Girls: 9 to 12 inclusive
• Little League (Major): 10 to 12 inclusive
• Intermediate League: 11 to 13 inclusive
• Junior League: 12 to 14 inclusive
• Senior League: 13 to 16 inclusive
