Check the highlighted striker is right first, then:

Dot ball or runs off the bat: select Dot Ball or the number of runs.
Wides, no-balls, byes and leg byes: use Extras. For a no-ball the batter also hit for runs, enter only the runs off the bat as part of the no-ball.
Wicket: select Wicket, confirm which batter, the dismissal type, the fielder if needed, and whether the batters crossed.
Retirement: use Retire Not Out when a batter reaches their ball limit, then select the next batter.
End of over: check the over summary, select End Over, then select the next bowler. In Stage 1 the batters change ends at the end of each over, so check the striker is correct before the first ball.

Check the striker, bowler and over count regularly.
