Arm sleeves (Rule 1-5-2d), effective with the 2027 season: arm sleeves, attached or unattached, that are manufactured to enhance contact with the ball or an opponent must meet the SFIA specification at the time of manufacture and carry a permanent, visible, legible SFIA seal on the outside.
The rule was adopted in 2025 with a delayed start so manufacturers, players and coaches can prepare. It isn't enforced in 2026.
