What are the home jersey color and adornment rules?

Under Rule 1-5-1b(3), all home team jerseys must be the same dark color(s) that clearly contrast with white. Illegal home jerseys were a 2025 rules reminder.

Since 2025, a school mascot is an allowed jersey adornment, along with the number, nickname, logo, school name and player name.
