How do I report a foul to the scorer's table?

After calling the foul, jog to a spot a few metres from the scorer's table where they can see you clearly, stop, and:

1. show the number of the player who fouled with your fingers. For two-digit numbers, show the first digit on your right hand and the second on your left (for 14: one finger on the right hand, then four on the left). Zero is a closed fist.
2. show the type of foul with its signal (holding, pushing, blocking and so on).
3. show what happens next: the number of free throws (fingers held up), or point in the direction of play for a throw-in.

Wait until the scorer has acknowledged you before moving away. Your partner watches the players while you report.
