How do I qualify as a gymnastics judge in South Africa?

Gymnastics South Africa's judging education structure:

1. Start with the Level 1 judges' course for your discipline (for example women's artistic). Courses run face to face or online, followed by an in-person or online examination.
2. Progress to the South African Level 2 and then Level 3 courses.
3. Move on to the FIG Brevet judges' training and examination, which qualifies you to judge internationally.

You must also complete GSA's required safeguarding course for judges (Course 1, Welcome to Safeguarding Essentials) and keep the certificate current (valid four years). For help joining the online platforms, GSA lists sbu@sagf.co.za.
