Gymnastics Australia's competency-based Judge Education Framework has these levels (Judge Accreditation Policy V1.5, October 2021, and the 2026 WAG Technical Regulations V1.1):
- Beginner, the entry level.
- Intermediate.
- Advanced.
- Advanced Silver.
- High Performance, awarded as the FIG Brevet after a FIG judge course.
(Intermediate Bronze exists for men's artistic only.) To be an accredited judge you need a GA accreditation from a course sanctioned by GA or your State/Territory Association, and the accreditation is only active while you are a current GA Technical Member. Most judges enter at Beginner and progress through each level.
