Activities that count include attending or instructing a clinic or judging course, coaching within the Women's Development Program system, congress judging sessions, shadow judging, observation hours (alongside at least one other judge), attending Women's Judging Assembly meetings, line judging, video study with at least 2 judges, mock meets, mentor sessions, self-learning modules and CPE mini sessions or webinars. The WJC can approve other activities.
If you do not complete the minimum hours (and the minimum number of categories), you have not met the requirements for your level. For example, a Level 8 judge with a 15-hour Level 8 course, 2 hours at the Women's Judging Assembly and 2 hours of gym observation meets the requirement because the hours come from 3 categories.
