How do batting and bowling bonus points work?

Bonus points are awarded in addition to match points, and are received irrespective of the match result. They are calculated only from the first 100 overs of each side's first innings.
- Batting: 0.01 bonus points for every run scored over 200. There is no limit. For example, a team that scores 201 receives 0.01.
- Bowling: 0.1 points for each wicket taken in the fielding side's bowling innings, capped at a total of 1.0.
Cricket Australia said in August 2026 that it is not changing the points structure for 2026/27.
