Under SASREA you can be kept out or removed if you:
- Don't have a valid ticket or written permission, where tickets are being sold for the event (s19(2)).
- Refuse a search request: to open your bag, be searched by a peace officer of the same gender, or be scanned (s20(6)(a), s20(7)).
- Appear to be intoxicated or under the influence of a prohibited substance (s20(6)(b)).
- Are found in a designated (accredited-only) area without an accreditation card (s18(6)-(7)).
- Are subject to a spectator exclusion notice for that event (s22).
Admission of all spectators can also be stopped or restricted by a prohibition notice if their admission would pose a serious risk to anyone (s21).
Access control officers and peace officers must display an accreditation card showing their appointment (s20(5)).
