In MLS, VAR decisions are announced by the centre referee to fans in the stadium and to viewers on broadcasts. The MLS competition guidelines also say stoppage time can be added at the end of each period to account for video reviews, among other causes.
Video Review is used at all MLS Cup Playoff games and at MLS Cup presented by Audi.
Under the IFAB protocol, the referee ends every review by showing the "TV signal" immediately followed by the final decision.
