- Squad: each team's Squad List has a maximum of 25 players, with shirt numbers between 1 and 99 that stay the same all season.
- Match day: a team names up to 15 players (at least one a goalkeeper) plus, optionally, an Emergency Goalkeeper, so up to 16. Eleven start the match.
- Finals: up to 17 players for all Finals matches, no more than 15 of them field players (so two goalkeepers).
- Emergency Goalkeeper: away teams can use a goalkeeper from a shared roster, based locally to the match. An Emergency Goalkeeper can play only if their team's goalkeeper is injured or suspended during the match (or injured in warm-up after starting line ups are submitted), and never as a field player. Teams found misusing the rule can be penalised.
- Substitutes are made from the named Match Squad, under the supervision of the Match Manager.
