How do the 2026 CEBL playoffs and Finals work?

Q: How do the 2026 CEBL playoffs and Finals work?

The 2026 CEBL playoffs have a new in-market format. Conference Semifinals (Thursday, August 6): single elimination in each conference. The 1st seed plays the 4th seed and the 2nd seed plays the 3rd seed, with the higher seed hosting. Conference Finals (Saturday, August 8): single elimination, with the higher seed hosting. CEBL Finals (August 12 to 16): a best-of-three series, the first multi-game playoff series in league history. Game 1 is August 12, Game 2 is August 15 and Game 3, if needed, is August 16. The lower seed hosts Game 1 and the higher seed hosts Games 2 and 3. This replaced the single-elimination Championship Weekend with a host team.
