A score review is a scoring consultation between the on-field umpires and an off-field Score Reviewer, using the Score Review System (the procedure and equipment that lets the Score Reviewer take part). In the AFL it is run from the AFL Review Centre (ARC), and the reviewer assesses the available vision.
The people involved are the field umpire (who makes the provisional call and signals for the review), the goal umpire (who signals the score), and the Score Reviewer. The AFL's Executive General Manager Football may appoint the Score Reviewer, along with the Official Scorer who records the scores (AFL Regulation 15.3).
