Is the Community Tennis Volunteer course a coaching certification?

No. Tennis Canada states that Community Tennis Volunteer Training is NOT a course for coach certification.

It is a fully virtual, four-hour online course for community leaders and volunteers who want to organize quality tennis sessions, and it is open to any level of player. It covers Sport Safety education, quality standards for retention and growth, age-appropriate equipment, organizing play and communicating with children and adults, and includes a background check and Respect in Sport training.

To become a certified coach, take the Instructor course instead (see the Instructor question).
