How can I check a coach is certified, or report a safety concern?

• Check a coach: use the "Is My Coach Active Certified?" lookup on the Tennis Canada site: https://www.tenniscanada.com/coach/safeguarding-tennis/find-certified-coach
• Report a concern: safety concerns can be filed through the Speak Up complaint form: https://www.tenniscanada.com/coach/safeguarding-tennis/file-complaint
• Sport Safety toolkit for coaches (https://www.tenniscanada.com/resources-hub/sport-safety-coaches) includes resources on bystander intervention, responding to a disclosure, duty to report, prohibited behaviours, safe travel and electronic communications with athletes.

Tennis Canada states that coaches certified by the TPA must comply with Sport Safety requirements, and that active certified coaches are trained to handle ethical and legal situations involving the safety of everyone in a training environment.
