Registration period: the SAFA Junior Football League registers players from February to October (Uniform Rule 14.2).
Documents to submit for each player (Rule 14.5):
- the registration form from the team's allocated registration book
- the player's passport or identity document (certified copy of the ID)
- a transfer or clearance certificate, if the player was with another team
- a completed medical report
- three recent colour passport-sized photos
Timing
- Submit the forms within five days of the player signing (Rule 14.6).
- Hand in documents at the SAFA offices during working hours. The card is issued on the fifth working day after submission: documents handed in on a Thursday give a card the following Thursday (Rule 14.7). Plan ahead, because the player can't play until the card is issued.
Numbers: the entry fee covers the first 22 players; further registrations must be paid for before they are processed (Rule 14.9).
