Rugby Canada's age grade law variations for community rugby set these formats:
- U15 and U16 (15s): 15 players (8 forwards, 7 backs) on a full field.
- U17, U18 and U19 (15s): 15 players (8 forwards, 7 backs) on a full field.
- U15 to U19 (sevens): 7 players (3 forwards, 4 backs) on a full field.
Substitutions are rolling in every format. The variations cover U7 to U19, and the current Rugby Canada game cards are labelled 2024 (the file is titled 2022 v3).
