- Competition, Introduction: designed for coaches of U12 and higher. An in-class and on-ice workshop covering planning, practices, and technical and tactical elements.
- Competition, Development: an advanced 27-hour workshop for coaches of highly competitive teams, from Canada Games to national team level.
Anyone 14 or older can take the Community Sport Initiation and Competition Introduction courses. Certified status is granted on the 16th birthday; until then coaches are listed as "Trained - Under 16" in the Coaching Association of Canada's database.
In addition, ringette coaches must complete Make Ethical Decisions and the Respect in Sport Activity Leader/Coach Program (see the safe sport question in this FAQ).
