What did coaches have to complete for the 2026 U15 and U17 National Championships?

For the 2026 Canada Basketball U15 and U17 National Championships (2 to 8 August 2026; women's in Sherbrooke, QC and men's in Regina, SK), teams represented their province or territory. Canada Basketball's event page required that:

• coaches, team managers, IST staff and referees complete the Safe Sport training module (free, 90 minutes, at https://safesport.coach.ca/);
• all coaches, team managers, staff, volunteers and referees hold an Enhanced Police Information Check (E-PIC) issued within 36 months of the event (www.mybackcheck.com).

The event's stated objectives include development-appropriate competition under the Canadian Basketball Athlete Development Model, fair play, and identifying athletes and coaches for National Team programming.
