- Point values: NCCP training = 5 points; non-NCCP events = 1 point per hour (up to 3); active coaching = 1 point per year.
- Ways to earn them: NCCP clinics, multi-sport modules through provincial coaching organizations, active coaching and self-reporting.
- Tracking: check your points at thelocker.coach.ca under the Certification and Maintenance tabs.
- Multi-sport PD modules include Leading a Return to Sport Participation, Mental Health in Sport, Coaching Athletes with a Disability, Emergency Action Plan, Fundamental Movement Skills, Making Head Way in Sport, Sport Nutrition, Safe Sport Training and Understanding Teen Dating Violence.
- Canada Basketball's own PD is the Canada Basketball Professional Development (CBPD) virtual speaker series and the annual Super Clinic.
