How long does BokSmart certification last, and how do I renew it?

• BokSmart certification is valid for 2 years at a time.
• You renew it only by successfully completing the latest BokSmart course, which brings you up to date with current rugby safety evidence.
• There is a 2-month grace period after the expiry date on your licence card to do the course.
• Your certification code (in the form BS-0000001) is what referees and hosts record on match reports.

Your province, club or school must keep records of every affiliated coach's and referee's certification, for audits by the province or SA Rugby.
