What are the rules on tournament sanctioning and travel outside BC?

Hosting a tournament or jamboree: Minor Hockey Associations apply through BC Hockey's online Host a Tournament form, https://bchockey.net/applications/tournament-jamboree-host-application

• Interbranch tournament (3 or more branches): besides the online application, submit the Interbranch Tournament Sanction Form 90 days before the event starts.
• International tournament (teams from countries other than the USA or Canada): submit the International Tournament Sanction Form to the BC Hockey office 90 days before the event starts.

Travel outside the province or country: BC Hockey tells teams to review its "Travel Insurance Information, Insurance Coverage, Out of Country Competitions and/or Players" bulletin. Out-of-country players must buy separate primary medical insurance for the Hockey Canada program to apply.
