Players: a person must be registered with Football Australia (FA) before they can play for a Club, take part in a MiniRoos program, or take part in any other football program or type delivered by FA, a Member Federation, a District Association or a Club. A Member Federation, District Association or Club must not let anyone take part in MiniRoos or another program it delivers unless that person is registered as a Player in that program. The Regulations apply to all forms of organised football under FA's jurisdiction, including modified football, futsal, indoor, beach, summer football, MiniRoos and schools football.
Amateurs: all Amateurs must be registered through the National Online Registration System (PlayFootball). For a Competition other than a National League, the Amateur self-registers in the system and the Club accepts the registration. The registration must be made through the system as the mandatory first point of entry.
Club and Team Officials (including volunteers): they must also register with FA through the National Online Registration System, and Clubs are responsible for making sure their Club Officials and Team Officials are registered. FA may refuse or rescind an Official's registration in its sole and absolute discretion.
