- Investigation: a person under 18 involved in an investigation must always be supported by a parent or guardian and, where possible, a Club Officer. The parent or guardian can submit a written complaint on the young person's behalf.
- Conciliation: if a participant is under 18, a Club Officer (who must not be that person's parent or guardian) must attend to assist and support them. A parent or guardian may also attend.
- A "Club Officer" includes a president, chairperson, vice president, general manager, football manager, coach, or board or committee member of a club.
