How do we move a student up a team or form a joint team?

- Moving up within a sport: to move player(s) to a higher age group team in the same sport, submit the Moving Up request online through STARS (handbook 818.3). It is not a PDF form.
- Playing up to a more senior school: the student stays registered at their own school. Submit the required paperwork to BC School Sports and staff will move them up manually. Middle/junior school athletes playing up to the feeder school's more senior team use the Middle/Junior School "Playing Up" Form (818.1).
- Joint teams: two or more schools without enough players to field a team can combine using the Joint Team Application Form (840.0). If approved, their students can play together. To add students from the joining school, email info@bcschoolsports.ca.
