Who is eligible for a U16 team?

2026-27 USASF U16 (International, Elite tier) divisions:

- Eligibility is by birth year, not age on a set date. "U" divisions have a bottom age too, so check the birth-year range.
- At Levels 1-3, U16 teams may include female and male athletes. At Level 4, U16 is female only and U16 Coed has one or more males. Males may not exceed 2/3 of a coed team.
- International divisions need at least 16 athletes on the floor. A penalty may be assessed for fewer.
- You must be on your club's official USASF roster for each sanctioned competition.
- The USASF member term runs June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027.
