If none of the accepted documents apply to you (for example, you are a non-status Indian), you complete the Declaration of Indigenous Ancestry Form.
- You complete the form, stating that you are of Indigenous ancestry and where your ancestry can be traced back to, and attach your ancestry information.
- You submit it to your team, and your region endorses it first.
- The NAIG Council then gives a second approval.
- The Chef de Mission submits the form, with all your accompanying ancestry information, in the Host Society's registration package on the final deadline.
Copies of supplementary forms such as the ancestry form must also be submitted to the Host Society at Mission Meeting 4 (M4), and every participant must be fully registered in the registration system to be eligible.
