For 2026-27:
- Nordiq Canada has been allocated the equivalent of ten Senior Cards, a total of $261,000. The allocation may be split into Senior or Development Cards.
- The qualification period was November 1, 2025 to March 24, 2026. The twelve-month carding cycle runs from June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027.
- Monthly allowance: Senior Card (SR1, SR2, SR) and Senior Card Health-Related Circumstances (SRH) $2,175; Development Card (D, DH) $1,305.
- Athletes approved for carding are nominated for a minimum of four months and a maximum of twelve months.
- If more athletes qualify than there are cards, not all eligible athletes receive carding. Cards are awarded in the priority order in the criteria.
