Cheer Canada's 2026-2027 All Star Division List (age grid, in English and French) is based on the IASF Division List, with a few differences for unique circumstances in Canada. Divisions are grouped into All Star, Prep and Novice; Prep and Novice use U6 and U8 age groups, among others.
- Levels: All Star uses levels so athletes can progress safely and compete against evenly matched teams. The IASF 2026-2027 score sheets cover Levels 1 to 7.
- Rules: Cheer Canada aligns with the IASF rule set. The current IASF Cheer Legality Rules cover 2025 to 2028 (updated July 16, 2025).
- Season: All Star athletes train year-round for a competition season of roughly November to May.
- Team size: the 2026-2027 division list sets 5 to 30 athletes in Canada (up to 36 for University). Cheer Canada's All Star page describes teams as 5 to 38 athletes, typically 15 to 20; the division list is the competition rule.
